CLIENT

Healthy Together provided by Leicestershire NHS Partnership Trust, delivers the Healthy Child Programme to local families in the city.

Providing a programme of screening, immunisation, and health and development reviews to all families with children under 5, as well as universal and progressive services and parenting advice for all children aged 5 to 19 years to promote optimal health and well-being.

BRIEF

We were commissioned to create three animated videos to support parents and children as they transition into primary and secondary school. The client also required shorter video edits that could be used across their social platforms.

These would sit on the NHS Health for Under 5s, Health for Kids and Health for Teens websites as part of a national service to help parents and children with all elements of their health and well-being.

RESULTS

The three films provide valuable insights, reassurance, and guidance as we follow our characters from pre-school age into their tween years. With the shorter social edits providing easy-to-digest and accessible advice across the Healthy Together social platforms.

Together, the films guide parents and caregivers as they gear up for their child's big step into primary school, emphasise the importance of communication between parents and children as they navigate this pivotal transition, and give children tips on dealing with the jump to secondary school with insights on overcoming common worries and embracing change positively.

SOCIAL EDITS

Primary to Secondary School Transition:
Geared toward children themselves, this video offered guidance for moving from primary to secondary school and settling into the new environment. It was designed to fit both Health for Kids and Health for Teens.

Secondary School Transition:
Targeting parents and caregivers, this video was intended for sharing on Health for Kids: Grownups. It provided guidance to support children transitioning from primary to secondary school.

Preparation for Primary School:
Designed to assist parents and caregivers with tips and advice for the period leading up to a child's entry into primary school. It adhered to health professionals' guidelines, ensuring engagement and suitability for sharing on Health for Under 5s and Health for Kids.
